Base Options

Galvanised Steel Base

Our galvanised steel bases are imperative for safe and secure functionality.

For increased security, anchoring the bases with sandbags is highly recommended.

Alternatively, you can fix the bases in place using anchor bolts with the 4 accessible holes.

NEW Ballast Block

For maximum security, the state of the art, MIRA windspeed tested Ballast Blocks are your best option.

Fill the ballast block with water to yield 110kg in block weight for robust stability.

In the unlikely case of requiring even more stability; sand, gravel and concrete are viable options for the absolute maximum stability.

Height Restriction Barriers

GS6 guardian goalposts, height restriction barrier, construction site goalpost, ovehead traffic barrier, cable protection goalposts, Bunting Strip, 25m Bunting for GS6

Bunting

Our entry level height restriction method is our reliable 25m bunting.

In their red and white colour format, they are highly visible to anyone at a distance.

The bunting impressively copes well in many conditions, but for a more secure method of height restriction, see the crossbar.

Crossbar

The telescopic crossbar is the most secure method of overhead height restriction.

In harsher weather conditions, the crossbar is a lot more effective than alternative methods.

The pole is made from fibre glass, and functions in the same way our standard telescopic poles do.

1.6 Metres

Cantilever

The cantilever arm is primarily used for single lane height restriction, where the poles cannot be erected on both sides of a carriageway.

The robust elbow that connects the two poles together ensures maximum rigidity, to keep the arm straight with no movement in various weather conditions. The Arm projects 1.6 metres out.

Additional Safety Options

Warning Signs

It is essential for vehicle operators to know the maximum height limit of an area.

As our barriers are flexible in required height, we have introduced our DIY Warning Signs which clamp onto the telescopic pole.

Simply write on your specific height and wipe off when you need to change it.

Pole Safety Light

This is a great add on to our GS6 Guardian Goalpost poles, further increasing safety.

The Safety Light is attached to a GS6 Pole to illuminate the danger area, so all workers are notified of potential hazards.

You can easily set the light up for constant illumination, or a flashing mode as seen in the image.
